Tarek Mourad | All Walks of Life – Plate I, 2025
This series, provisionally titled All Walks of Life, shows the soles of three pairs of shoes, each tied to a different period in one person's life. The soles of the shoes are presented as a witness of memories—some warm and unforgettable, others difficult and buried deep. One pair carries traces of moments they'd relive in a heartbeat while another bears the weight of regret, tied to decisions and experiences they'd rather forget. Together, the photos form a quiet, intimate archive of a complex, evolving inner world.
