๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐น ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ผ (b. 1994) is an artist based in Beirut, Lebanon, where she currently works and lives. She holds a Bachelorโs degree in Interior Architecture from L'Acadรฉmie Libanaise Des Beaux Arts.
Her work explores the intangible facets of human experience through her innovative art, seamlessly blending the concrete with the fantastical. She uses a variety of mediums, creating everything from delicate line work to intricate 2D and 3D forms, conveying messages ranging from simplistic to deeply abstract.
A recurring theme in her work is the sensation of absurdity, which reflects the complexities of contemporary life. Through her art, she navigates the fine line between fear and pleasure, capturing the essence of modern existence and inviting viewers to engage with the paradoxes that define our reality.
๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐พ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป (b. 1987) is a Lebanese-Armenian artist, born in Beirut, Lebanon, where he currently works and lives. He holds a BA in Fine Arts and a Master's degree in painting from the Lebanese Institute of Fine Arts.
His work focuses on creating sociopolitical objects that reflect real experiences and challenge societal boundaries. His work merges contemporary concepts with traditional techniques, rooted in strong cultural traditions while responding to the dynamic changes in today's world.ย
His notable achievements include winning the Art on Board Beirut painting prize from the Saradar Foundation in 2015 and the Boghossian Foundationโs painting prize in 2016, as well as an Art Residency at Villa Empain in Brussels in 2018. Jacques has showcased his art in numerous solo and group exhibitions both locally and internationally.
