The project engages with an already existing ideology and dominant discourse.
It uses narratives and imagery to express concerns about human rights and violence in the Middle East, a place riddled with social, political and economic problems, and explores the contemporary social behavior that is more often based on similar principles and aim to enhance people’s feelings of empathy.
It challenges the conventional boundaries and hierarchies imposed by people with significant influence. The project contextualizes a practice made in a non-place by a group of people to create the whole social artwork as a reaction against the oppression, violence, injustices, and inequalities currently happening in the Middle East. How some protests lose their momentum really fast, which creates other legacies of disappointments when they cannot affect the public policies.
How non-violent mass demonstrations limit the impact on governments that are willing to use force to suppress them.
How a uniform changes the position of an individual during the act of a protest, despite the fact that the person wearing the uniform also struggle from the same injustices.
