An early morning in the Beqaa Valley: smoke rising from a field, farmers burning grass. It looks like the burning tires on the street, from the year before, or the flames that swept through the nearby village.

Through screen printing, the image is broken into four colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. Each layer is pressed in turn through the repeated labour of the body. As the layers accumulate, the image re-emerges, each pass disclosing a new fragment.
