Amidst the inhumane genocide that is on going for almost 2 years now, In Tension is an effort to commemorate the Palestinian people by focusing on 3 elements prominent in their history: the rock, a primitive weapon used to defend themselves against the most technologically sophisticated weapons, the key, an endless hope to go back and reclaim the land, and the kufiyah, a powerful symbol of cultural identity and political resistance. The key, barely holding on to the rock, is in a constant tension between giving in to gravity or resisting it.
